Filanowski & Sons is an absolute gem, like Disneyland for plant lovers. Plan accordingly because there is so much to see and the prices are reasonable. If you love stonecrops (sedums), there are different kinds of them at the perennial section. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We found this gem of a nursery last weekend and we have already returned two more times for bee balm, azaleas, and potting soil. All plants, shrubs and trees are CT grown making them ideal for our yards, unlike big box stores. Anthony and his wife Jacki are friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and offer fair prices for healthy, beautiful plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. We might be new to Filanowski Farms, but I see many more trips in the future. Go with confidence. Pro Tip - Use the bathroom before coming as only Port o Jon’s available lol.

We’ve been coming to this greenhouse for years, and it has become such a special tradition for my mother and me. Every season we look forward to visiting, and now I plan to continue that tradition for many years to come. The flowers are always absolutely amazing — healthy, vibrant, and beautiful every single time. What impresses me most is how successful they are all summer long. Everything we purchase thrives and continues blooming beautifully throughout the season. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can truly tell they care about the quality of their plants and their customers.

The Christmas wreaths and kissing balls were fresh and lasted all through the season without turning brown. The mums in the fall are full and bloom late October, early November when you want them to. Very friendly staff.
